Frequently Asked Questions

What are the study tours' objectives?

  1. Understand Dutch mobility through first-hand experience
  2. Learn about infrastructure and public policies in the Netherlands
  3. Generate ideas for solutions that can be applied to your local context

What to expect during one of our tours

We will challenge you! Participants will be actively engaged in the tour, not just following a guide or listening to lectures. By sharing experiences, participants not only learn from guides but also from their fellow participants. For customized tours we will arrange meetings with local stakeholders, such as engineers, urban planners and designers, or members from city councils.

Who is the target audience?

Whether you are a planner, an engineer, a designer, a business person, a politician or an advocate, you will learn from the Dutch mobility expertise. If you are looking for a specific tour for a particular target audience, please feel free to get in touch with us for a customised tour.

Which languages are the tours offered in?

All tours are delivered in English or German.

What should I bring?

Make sure you have clothes that suit a bike tour (basically the same clothes you would wear for a walking tour). The weather is obviously unpredictable, so a light rain jacket as well as sunglasses might be a good idea.
